{"id":8474,"date":"2021-08-03T09:22:14","date_gmt":"2021-08-03T09:22:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uxionovoneyra.gal\/we-announce-the-names-of-the-artists-participating-in-the-2nd-ameto-mitico-literary-residencies\/"},"modified":"2021-08-06T08:31:23","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T08:31:23","slug":"we-announce-the-names-of-the-artists-participating-in-the-2nd-ameto-mitico-literary-residencies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uxionovoneyra.gal\/en\/we-announce-the-names-of-the-artists-participating-in-the-2nd-ameto-mitico-literary-residencies\/","title":{"rendered":"We announce the names of the artists participating in the 2nd &#8220;\u00c1meto M\u00edtico&#8221; Literary Residencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the Ux\u00edo Novoneyra Foundation we have just announced the participants for the second edition of residencies &#8220;\u00c1meto M\u00edtico&#8221; in the Camino de Santiago for this September 2021, a project integrated within the programming &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/xacobeo2021.caminodesantiago.gal\/es\/programacion\/o-teu-xacobeo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">O Teu Xacobeo<\/a>&#8221; of the Xunta de Galicia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arancha Nogueira, Lu\u00eds L\u00f3pez Alonso, Laura Casielles, Clara Burghelea, Adam Wyeth and Agnes Marton<\/strong> are the poets chosen to participate in the international itinerant residencies that will take place between 16 and 30 September.<\/p>\n<p>For 15 days the participants will go on pilgrimage between O Cebreiro and Santiago de Compostela to develop Jacobean-themed compositions that they will later share with students from six educational centres. At the end of the residency, FUN will compile the texts created in its own edition.<\/p>\n<p>This experience aims to dialogue with the literary traditions that, like Proven\u00e7al poetry and Sufi mysticism, reached our lands through the Camino. The aim of these international writing residencies is to recover the <em>\u00e1meto m\u00edtico<\/em> that Novoneyra dreamed of in his book of the same title, to revive\u00a0the Jacobean theme in contemporary poetry and to invite young people to recognise the importance of the\u00a0First European Cultural Itinerary.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to those selected.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The travelling residencies &#8220;\u00c1meto M\u00edtico&#8221; are part of the cultural programme of the Xunta de Galicia &#8220;O Teu Xacobeo&#8221;. This second edition is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bepartnow.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BE(p)ART &#8211; GROW WITH ARTS<\/a> project, an initiative funded by the European Commission&#8217;s Creative Europe programme.
