European Projects

At the Uxío Novoneyra Foundation, we actively secure EU funding to expand our international reach and build connections across the continent, grounded in collaboration and mutual learning. Over the years, we have established a strong network of strategic partnerships which, paired with extensive expertise in managing EU-funded initiatives, is essential to advancing our core goals.

Our steadily growing portfolio of projects establishes us as Galicia’s most internationally connected cultural foundation. Beyond leading and partnering in direct initiatives, we also serve as facilitators and advocates for EU opportunities and funding, viewing them as vital resources for the sustainable development of both culture and our region.

Internationalisation & Cultural Mobility

We support individuals and organisations in taking culture international by assisting with European mobility grants and funding schemes:

  • i-Portunus: Individual mobility scheme for artists and cultural professionals. (Access the Spanish Ministry of Culture portal for information on i-Portunus and other Creative Europe initiatives).
  • Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Cross-border exchange programme offering new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced hosts across Europe.
  • EU4EU: European university platform facilitating international traineeships and professional internships abroad.
